Not impressed. My boyfriend tried to have roses delivered to me for my birthday. They didn't get delivered until the day after. They also got delivered to my home during a week day when I'm not home. My boyfriend said that they were supposed to be delivered on Sunday while we were home. They called me (spoiled the surprise) and asked me what to do with them. I tried to get them to deliver to Waldo stadium where he works and was told that my instructions were not clear enough for the driver. I specifically said "The building physically attached to the bleachers to the right of the Seeyle Center. Stadium drive runs along the building." I'm not sure how much more clear I could have been. Extremely frustrating.
My husband bought me a bouquet of the most beautiful red roses for our anniversary from Heirloom Rose! When David ordered them, the owner told him that he would have Michigan roses available for my bouquet; promising him that they would not disappoint. In 29 years of marriage, these roses - 9 DAYS LATER - are still the most vibrant, lush roses he has ever given me. I wouldn't be surprised to see them last at least another week. Thank you!
A pitiful experience overall. The arrangement pictured here was purchased by an old lady who lives out of state with limited means as a surprise birthday gift and Heirloom Rose attempted to deliver without success the first time. A woman from the florist called to work out delivery since there wasn't anyone at the delivery address and "didn't know what to do" since there wasn't going to be anyone at the address again the next day. Yes, we work for a living. Every bit of surprise and cheer from receiving this arrangement was crushed by her unprofessional and frustrated tones. Is this the first time the recipient wasn't at home when a delivery attempt was made? We have a covered front porch that could have protected the arrangement for a few hours if the company had some means of minimally protecting the flowers. The next delivery attempt was made 3 DAYS LATER on Thursday and the driver walked through a gate in the back yard irrespective of our privacy and the fact that we have two large dogs and knocked on the door seeing clearly that she was on a phone call. Again, use the front porch as any other professional delivery driver will do and ask yourself if there was a way to solve the challenge in the span of four days. When the door was opened, the driver apologized for the appearance of the arrangement because "it had been sitting in the truck since Monday." Is this the best Heirloom Rose can do? Save your money and limit your frustration by going with a quality local company who understands customer service like Wedel's or Schafer's in Kalamazoo. Heirloom Rose is an unprofessional and directionless company successful only in diminishing the cheer that should accompany the very product upon which they are built.
Super shocked to see some of the poor ratings on here! We just had our wedding over labor day weekend. Our experience with Jim at Heirloom Rose was great. Our flowers and bouquet where breath taking beautiful, and almost a week later are still alive and looking great! The prices where also great too. We will definitely recommend and use Heirloom rose again! They made our flower experience for our wedding extremely easy and painless. Thank you Heirloom Rose! Very very impressed with the quality and prices.
